I’m new to the idea of astrophotography, and have recently acquired a handcrafted 10″ Newtonian refleotor on a Dob mount for viewing…(I’ve had an old 8 incher for ages)..
I am considering a WO FLT110 for deep space photograpghy and some sharp planetary viewing/photography… In “IceInSpace” I think you review this instrument highy and said many of your astro photos are taken with a 110… Is that right?
Yes I have taken quite a lot of images with the FLT 110 and it is a very nice instrument … well worth the money … thanks for looking and your comments and good luck with your imaging !
The other link I have to my images has some more detail as regards to scopes and cameras used etc …. generally you can tell images taken with refractors because they don’t have diffraction spikes on the stars …. I can’t remember off hand which images were done with which scope but a lot of the DSO images on this blog are done with the FLT110.
