The full scale image was taken with a Canon 350D DSLR mounted on a Meade DSX90AT Maksutov Cassegrain Telescope with a home made Baader solar film filter fitted. Never look at or point a telescope or a camera at the Sun without a proper solar filter to protect all the afforesaid … particularly your eyes.
